ATTORNEY Metİn İLHAN, LL.M. Eur.

He's graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Law in 2001. After his law internship, he was in Germany for language and postgraduate studies between 2003-2006. He's completed his master's degree on European Union Law and International Law (LL.M. Eur.) at Bremen University. In 2007-2008, he's started to gave counseling and consultancy services to Atv Television and the media group at Newspaper of Sabah. In 2008-2013 he's lived in Frankfurt, Germany. During this time, he represented for Turkuvaz Media Group as counsellor of legal affairs in Europe. Simultaneously, he's managed the liquidation of some corporations. In addition as legal advisor he carried out the dispute issues of companies that resident of Germany and Turkey seperately,  He lectures Turkish law courses at the Goethe University Faculty of Law in Frankfurt. He was General Secretary of the European Union of Turkish Democrats (UETD - uetd.org) from 2013 to 2016. During this period he enrolled in the Bar of Cologne and has made legal advice. In 2016, He was appointed to the Zaman Newspaper, Today's Zaman, Cihan News Agency, Cihan Media Distribution and various TVs and magazines  by the decision of court as trustee until the closing with delegated legislation the reason of 15the July  Coup attempt at Turkey, Until this time he has managed position of chairman of this group. He's currently have management positions of various companies that have been confiscated. In December 2016 He's established Jurist Legal Counseling Office.

He's member of Bar of İstanbul, In addition he is a member of some national and international NGOs. He is married and has two sons. Attorney Metin Ilhan has specialties t Media Law, Public & Private Partnership Law (PPP LAW), Contract Law, International Private Law, German Law and European Union Law.

He has Turkish and German citizenship. He speaks English and German fluently.
